Murano Italian Art Glass Vintage Fish Sculpture Sommerso Style Hand Blown Large

  

A stunning large hand blown art glass fish sculpture, made on the Venetian island of Murano in the late 20th century for Jordan Imports Company (JICo). This wonderful piece features a red and multicolor aventurine glass Sommerso body, murrine eyes and amber fins/base, cased in clear glass.

In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damage. Vintage Italian Murano Sommerso fish sculpture on Pedestal. It measures about 10 inch tall, about 12 inches from nose to tail across the center. The bottom of the base measures about 6 inch across.
