Timo Sarpaneva, art glass sculpture 1950's Iittala Finland hand blown glass art

  

Wonderful glass art sculpture from 1950's designer Timo Sarpaneva and produced in Iittala glass factory. Two colored glass oval shaped and the empty space in inside the item has been made with using wet wooden stick to so the expanding gasses of the hot glass would make the bubble. Sculpture is 7 cm (2'75) tall. Signed in the bottom Timo Sarpaneva Iittala - 55.

In good vintage condition with only minimal signs of use. There is a small amount of age related grayness inside the bubble.
