Devil's Fist art glass Sculpture from Iittala. Designed and manufactured in 1950's.

Designer was Timo Sarpaneva who's inspiration came mostly from the powerful shapes of natural phenomenons. Mouth blown, sand blasted and acid-etched matt surface. Signed: Timo Sarpaneva Iittala -55. The signature is hard to see as it's under the matted surface. Best way to see it is with a powerful light and use the through the bottom not at it.

Stands 18 cm tall (7") with a diameter of 7 cm (3"). My item is in extremely beautiful condition with minimal signs of use. There are few small air bubbles inside the glass from manufacturing process. I post world wide in safe double or triple packaging using normal Finnish Post.
